Recycling with impact: Ponderosa's environmental commitment

Sustainability isn't just a looming trend in Costa Rica; it's a responsibility assumed with conviction. As part of its environmental actions, the park has consolidated an active recycling program in partnership with the Municipality of Liberia. In the last two weeks, more than 170 kilos of reusable materials were collected, sorted, and delivered to the local government's collection center.

An initiative with direct impact

This effort goes beyond the park's internal operations. It involves coordination, staff training, and an organizational culture that prioritizes proper waste management. Every bottle, carton, or container separated prevents it from reaching landfills and contributes to a longer and more responsible lifecycle for materials.
